Whether as an agency (or contractor) you have summer party of your own or not, snZero will be back in August and hoping for sunny weather in order to celebrate the summer in style – and give us all a nice little independent summer shindig. 

We'll have not only a BBQ, but hopefully some bands and other talent (I may juggle fire) from in and around Leeds, as well as a brilliant raffle giving away some freebies to the assembled masses.

The venue is going to be a new one on snZero, as we will be taking over a huge chunk of The Lounge on Merrion Street – the inside patio will house some musical talent (shout up if you know someone who might or you want to play the venue), and the outside patio will be cooking up a storm for those who want to partake in burgers, sausages and chargrilled poultry – as well as the glorious evening sun; and would you adam'n'eve it, the place even has a roof terrace to overflow on to should we get 250 people saying that they want to come and enjoy the usual level of digital marketing and otherwise related banter.

Then for those still around at close there is the option of moving onto Mojo for some of the best cocktails and rock music playing in Leeds.

So there are two other things changing for our sizzling summer shindig…

So firstly, bring a friend that’s not in digital. Aye, be it your significant other or your best friend Joe/Jolene (though preferably not a street urchin recently pulled off one of the local corners), we’re saying bring them along if you want to, let them enjoy what we hope will be a great night of burgers, beers and music. Please indicate in your ticket “purchase” whether the person you’re buying for is a digital don/diva or not. 

Secondly, tiered tickets. Yup, in order to facilitate food happening (it’s pre-bookable etc.) we’re going to have multi-tiered ticketing. That’s right, there will be as usual a free ticket*; and then there will also be a BBQ ticket which will get you access to the BBQ… The food menu will feature the following for your delectation:

• 6oz Hand Chopped Bespoke burger
• Hot Dogs with local Pork sausages
• Spiced Mexican Bean burgers – the vegetarian option!
• Chilli and ginger marinated chicken skewers
• Mixed leaves
• Olives and roasted red peppers
• New potato salad – as opposed to old potatoes
• Crème fraiche and garden herbs
• Relish’s and BBQ Sauce

You get one item of each of the above in the price, and that price is a not-cheap-but-reasonable £11 per head if you want it! If in doubt get a BBQ ticket, you can always sell it to those at the venue who through bad planning don’t have a food ticket (for a markup – the BBQ black market).
